This lifting gear uses a mechanically linked twistlock control unit, requiring no external power source, relying on the lifting hook's up-and-down movement to automatically open and close the twistlock. It features a compact structure, is lightweight, and easy to maintain.
Core Structure and Working Principle
1. Drive and Transmission Mechanism
The 40'semi-auto container spreader contains a drive crank-connecting rod mechanism, connected to a linkage plate on the torsion lock shaft. The linkage plate has guide grooves, which, in conjunction with a roller sliding unit, enable motion conversion. When the spreader is raised or lowered, the eccentric locking mechanism interacts with the rotating hook via a buffer spring, pushing the rollers to roll along the guide grooves, thereby driving the torsion lock shaft to rotate 90° clockwise or counterclockwise, completing locking or unlocking.
2. Limit and Positioning System
Limit Plate: Controls the rotation angle of the torsion lock, ensuring precise positioning for each action.
Positioning Unit: Prevents malfunction of the eccentric locking mechanism when not in operation, improving safety.
Guide Plates: Guide plates installed at the four corners guide the spreader to automatically align with the container corner fittings, reducing the requirements for operational precision.
