Step 1: Loading
The container (such as a drum, barrel, or IBC) is placed onto the tilting platform, often with the assistance of a forklift or pallet jack.
Step 2: Securing
Clamps, straps, or chains secure the container in place to prevent it from shifting during tilting.
Step 3: Tilting
The operator activates the system (hydraulic, pneumatic, or electric), causing the platform to pivot forward or backward (usually up to 90° or more).
Step 4: Dispensing
The contents flow out smoothly into another container, machine hopper, or processing line.
Step 5: Returning to Upright Position
After emptying, the tilter returns the container to its original position for removal.
