What's the Container Tilter's Technical Specifications of the Electrical Control System?

Jul 07, 2026

1. Power Supply and Distribution System Design

1.1 Main Power Supply Parameters
The electric system of the ENJUE container tilter utilizes a three-phase, five-wire power supply configuration. The specific electrical parameters are as follows:

Rated Voltage: AC 400V, with an allowable fluctuation range to accommodate grid fluctuations.

Rated Frequency: 50Hz.

Wiring Configuration: 3P 1N + 1PE (protective earth wire); this ensures a reliable grounding point for the equipment's metal enclosure and meets compatibility requirements for TN-S or TT grounding systems.

Customization: Non-standard customization available based on customer requirements.

1.2 Technical Requirements for Drive Motors

Insulation Class: Utilizes an F-class insulation system with ample temperature rise margin; the maximum permissible winding operating temperature is 155°C, providing a high overload safety margin under rated operating conditions.

Protection Rating: The container tilter units meet the IP54 protection standard, offering dust and splash resistance suitable for dusty or humid industrial environments.

Duty Cycle: Designed for S1 (continuous duty) operation, allowing for uninterrupted, long-term operation under constant load without the need for shutdowns for cooling.

Starting Method: Employs Direct-On-Line (DOL) starting, characterized by high starting torque, simple circuitry, and rapid response; suitable for applications where grid capacity is sufficient, and the system is not sensitive to inrush current.

1.3 Cable Laying and Wiring Specifications

Routing: All power and control cables are routed within hot-dip galvanized steel conduits. These conduits are securely fastened to the container tilter's steel structure or cable trays, ensuring robust mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.

Conductor Cross-Sectional Area: The total cross-sectional area of conductors (including insulation) within a single conduit must not exceed 40% of the conduit's internal cross-sectional area. This ensures adequate space for heat dissipation and ease of installation, while preventing overheating due to prolonged overload.

Bending Radius: Cable and conduit bending radii strictly adhere to national standards. The bending radius for low-voltage cables must be at least 10 times the outer diameter for multi-core cables and 12 times for single-core cables to prevent damage to the insulation or conductors

1.4 Power Distribution Control Cabinet (Box)

Enclosure Protection: The cabinet of the container tilter features an IP55 protection rating, offering excellent resistance to dust and water jets, making it suitable for outdoor use or installation in workshops with high dust levels.

Installation Location: Fixed installation on the second-level maintenance platform to facilitate routine inspections and emergency operations, while avoiding risks such as ground-level water accumulation or mechanical impact.

Cabinet Material and Construction: Fabricated from high-quality 2.5mm thick cold-rolled steel sheet via bending and welding processes, ensuring high structural strength; cabinet door seals are made of oil-resistant, flame-retardant material.

UV-resistant; aesthetically pleasing and weather-resistant.

Internal Electrical Component Configuration: The cabinet of the container tilter integrates main circuits and control circuits, including at least the following key components:

Main incoming circuit breaker (Molded Case Circuit Breaker with thermal-magnetic protection)

Fuse-switch disconnector or isolating switch (with visible break contacts to ensure maintenance safety)

Three-phase ammeter (analog or digital) and voltmeter (with phase-to-neutral/phase-to-phase voltage switching)

Auxiliary components such as control transformers, intermediate relays, terminal blocks, and signal indicator lights.

1.5 Cable Connection Interface

External power cable connections utilize IP66-rated industrial waterproof and dustproof plug/socket connectors. These connectors offer superior protection against dust and short-term immersion when disconnected, and support rapid mating/unmating as well as easy maintenance and replacement.

1.6 Selection of Low-Voltage Electrical Brands

All low-voltage electrical components of the ENJUE container tilters-including circuit breakers, contactors, thermal relays, auxiliary relays, push-buttons, and indicator lights-shall be sourced exclusively from Schneider Electric (genuine original products) to ensure long-term system reliability and the interchangeability of spare parts.

1.7 Comprehensive Electrical Protection Functions
Thecontainer tipper'ssystem is equipped with a comprehensive motor protection unit or an intelligent protection module that performs real-time monitoring and provides the following protection functions:

Short-circuit protection: Rapidly interrupts high short-circuit currents to protect circuits and equipment.

Overload protection: Features an inverse-time characteristic to prevent motor burnout caused by prolonged overcurrent.

Phase loss/unbalance protection: Detects phase current unbalance or loss and immediately triggers an alarm or trips the circuit.

Stall protection: Activates within a specified time if a sudden current surge caused by mechanical jamming is detected.

Earth leakage protection (residual current protection): Configurable to an appropriate leakage trip current.

2. ENJUE Container Tilter's Lighting System Design

Power Supply: Lighting circuits are fed independently from a single-phase AC 230V/50Hz source, separate from power circuits, to minimize harmonic interference.

Light Source Selection: High-efficiency, energy-saving light sources (such as high-efficacy industrial LED fixtures) are prioritized. Requirements include a luminous efficacy of ≥100 lm/W, a color temperature range of 4000K–5000K (neutral white light), and a color rendering index (CRI) of Ra ≥80, ensuring uniform illumination and flicker-free operation in work areas.

Special Requirements for Outdoor Lighting:

Waterproof and Shock-resistant: Fixture housings are made of die-cast aluminum alloy with silicone rubber seals and tempered glass covers, offering resistance to mechanical vibration and impact.

Safe and Reliable: Internal terminal blocks are fully enclosed; the container tilter's system includes over-temperature protection and lightning/surge suppression capabilities.

Easy Maintenance: A modular design enables rapid replacement of light sources and driver power supplies.

Ingress Protection (IP) Rating: All outdoor lighting fixtures have an IP rating of at least IP65, ensuring complete dust-tightness and resistance to low-pressure water jets, making them suitable for harsh weather conditions such as wind and rain.

3. Wireless Remote Control System of the Container Tipper (Optional)

ENJUE container tilter offers an optional industrial-grade wireless remote control system, enabling remote operation and enhancing operational flexibility and safety. Key system specifications include:container tilters remote controller

Structural Reliability: The remote transmitter of our container tilter (handheld unit) features a housing made of high-strength engineering plastic or reinforced nylon, offering excellent drop and impact resistance. The entire unit complies with the IP65 industrial protection standard, ensuring effective dust and rain resistance.

Ultra-low Power Consumption Design: Thecontainer tilter/tipper is equipped with a built-in low-power wireless transmission module; the system maintains a standby current in the microampere range.  Powered by two AA alkaline batteries, it offers approximately 3 months of continuous operation under normal use, significantly reducing the frequency of battery replacements.

Wide Operating Temperature Range: Internal components undergo industrial-grade temperature screening to ensure stable operation within an extreme temperature range of -45°C to +80°C, making the system suitable for harsh environments such as cold storage facilities, deserts, or areas near high-temperature furnaces.

Long-range Control: In open, unobstructed areas, the effective wireless operating range reaches 200 meters, meeting the requirements for controlling mobile equipment over large distances.

Flexible Power Supply: Power can be conveniently drawn from the equipment's control circuit, eliminating the need for a separate, independent power source.

Safety Redundancy Circuit: The receiver incorporates a fail-safe logic circuit to ensure safety in the event of power loss.
