The Radio Remote Control Grab (RRCG) is commonly employed for bulk material handling in quarrying, processing, and transportation operations.

The Radio Remote Control Grab (RRCG) is compatible with all single-rope and double-rope crane types, including mobile, crawler, port, and ship-mounted cranes. A typical application is ship-to-shore handling operations at ports and terminals.

RRCG units are capable of moving large volumes of foodstuffs and other goods quickly and safely. They handle a wide range of bulk materials – including metal aggregates, grains, fertilizers, plastics, cement, clinker, coal, cobbles, gravel, sand, metal ores, various cast metals, and other bulk materials with a density of up to 2.5 kg per liter.

 The opening mechanism is hydraulically driven via remote control.

 The load release stroke can be controlled incrementally for precise dumping.

 The integrated hydraulic layout reduces cycle times and crane wear, delivering faster operation and lower operating costs.

 Power supply is integrated within the grab – a unique feature that eliminates maintenance-intensive cables.

 The RRCG is designed to close only when suspended on the ground or cargo, not while airborne.

 No additional power supply from the vessel is required (by contrast, four electro-hydraulic grabs typically demand a 180 kW supply).

 The crane no longer requires cable reels, electrical control panels, or foot pedals.
