The four-rope double-flap grab is a kind of grab equipped on a crane with two sets of wire rope drums. One set of wire rope drums leads out two wire ropes, which are used as straight support up and down at the end of the grab balance frame, and the other set of wire ropes passes through the pulley group to act as the opening and closing bucket.
The two double drums of the crane respectively bring down four wire ropes, two of which are connected to the balance frame of the upper support beam of the grab (called support ropes), and the other two are connected to the two wire ropes wound on the grab pulley group (called opening and closing ropes). The support rope remains unchanged, the opening and closing ropes are lowered, and the grab is opened to unload; the grab is placed on the material rising closing rope, and the grab is closed to grab the material. The closing force of the grab is achieved through the pulley groups above and below the grab. The pulley group ratio is generally 3~5. The larger the pulley group ratio, the greater the excavation force.
The closing force of the four-rope double-flap grab is achieved by the force increase of the pulley group under the grab. The pulley ratio is generally 3~5. The larger the pulley ratio, the greater the digging force.
The four-rope double-flap grab can be used to load and unload small-particle bulk cargoes such as ore, ore powder, nickel ore, coal, coke, yellow sand, grain, fertilizer, alumina, sulfur, etc. in various harsh environments.
According to the specific gravity of the grabbed cargo, it can be divided into ultra-light double-flap grab, light double-flap grab, medium double-flap grab, and heavy double-flap grab.
Because some small-particle bulk cargoes have good fluidity, such as alumina, grain and other bulk cargoes, the blade of the ordinary double-flap grab cannot be sealed without leakage after closing, so the grab manufacturer invented the blade serrated leak-proof grab and the leak-proof grab with large and small bucket rest strips. On the basis of the four-rope double-flap grab product, the four-rope double-flap leak-proof grab product has been extended.
Features of the four-rope double-petal grab: reasonable structural fulcrum design, grab ratio as high as 1:1.9, grab full bucket rate of 95%~110%, and high efficiency.
