The four-rope grab is mainly used in conjunction with bridge or gantry cranes. It is equipped with two sets of drums to grab various loose deposits for loading and unloading, stacking and loading operations.
1. The structure of the four-rope grab:
The rope grab is composed of a support rod, a jaw plate and a load-bearing beam.
2. The working principle of the four-rope grab:
The loading posture of the four-rope grab is controlled by the lifting wire rope drum and the opening and closing wire rope drum on the lifting equipment. The two galvanized steel wire ropes wound on the lifting wire rope drum are fixed on the wedge shell at the top of the grab head. The wedge shell is hinged to the top of the grab head. When the lifting wire rope drum rotates, the galvanized steel wire rope pushes the grab up and down through the wedge shell; the two galvanized steel wire ropes wound on the opening and closing wire rope drum are wound between the top of the grab head and the movable pulley of the load-bearing beam through the guide wheel to control the opening and closing of the grab.
3. Four-rope grab operation site:
When loading, the grab is lowered to the material pile in an extended state (the opening and closing wire rope drum does not move at this time), and the opening and closing wire rope drum is started in the lifting position (the lifting rope does not move). Under the weight of the grab, the jaw plate of the grab digs into the material. After the grab is completely closed, the lifting wire rope drum and the opening and closing wire rope drum are started at the same time to raise the loaded grab to a certain height. The lifting equipment is started to move the grab to the unloading position, and the opening and closing wire rope drum is started in the lowered position (the lifting wire rope drum does not move), and the grab is opened to unload the material.
