Mechanical orange peel grab bucket is a kind of efficient lifting and loading equipment, which is composed of bucket body, spreader bar, upper bearing beam, lower bearing beam, pulley set, four wire ropes and other components. Among them, the bucket body is divided into several equal size of the bucket flap (generally 6-8), cross-section like an orange, so it is called Mechanical Orange Peel Grab. Often used in conjunction with tower cranes, gantries, ship cranes, ship unloaders, etc., which are equipped with two sets of winches.
Support ropes and closed ropes
- Support ropes: four rope refers to the four wire rope to control the work of the grab, two of which are hanging in the upper bearing beam on the rope guide device (balance frame), known as the support rope;
- Closed ropes: the other two and the wire rope wound around the grappling pulley group connected to the rope, known as the closure rope.
Classification of four-rope grabs
According to the number of flaps are divided into clamshell grab bucket and mechanical orange peel grab bucket.
1. Clamshell grab bucket grabs general bulk materials, such as coke, coal, grain, yellow sand, bulk fertilizer, mineral powder, etc.
2. Mechanical orange peel grab bucket grabs large materials or irregularly shaped bulk materials, such as grabbing garbage, stones, pig iron blocks, slag, waste steel and wood.
Features
