In order to avoid accidents during daily use of lifting machinery, we need to do a good job of daily maintenance of lifting machinery. The following is the specific content of the maintenance from three aspects: crane pulley, hook and wire rope.
1. Maintenance of crane pulley: The pulley guard should be installed firmly without damage or obvious deformation; the pulley should rotate flexibly, be smooth and free of cracks, and the wheel rim should not be damaged or damaged. The pulley should be scrapped when the uneven wear of the wheel groove reaches 3mm. or the wall thickness wear reaches 20% of the original wall thickness, or the reduction of the bottom diameter of the wheel groove reaches 50% of the wire rope diameter.
2. Inspection and maintenance of crane hooks: The wear of the dangerous section of the hook should not exceed 10% of the original size. The wear of the plate hook bushing should not exceed 50% of the original size, and the wear of the mandrel should not exceed 5% of the original size; the surface should be smooth, without defects such as cracks and sharp angles. Defects on the hook are not allowed to be repaired by welding; the dangerous section of the lower part of the hook and the groove section of the threaded part of the hook tail are strictly prohibited from having cracks; the hook should rotate flexibly, and the positioning bolts, openings, etc. should be tightened intact.
3. Inspection and maintenance of crane wire ropes: There should be ≥2 fixed pressure plates at the end of the wire rope.
The length of the wire rope ensures that when the hook is lowered to the lowest position (including the pit), there are no less than 3 turns of wire rope remaining on the drum.
The wire rope should be free of severe deformations such as kinks, dead angles, hard bends, plastic deformation, and hemp core detachment, and the lubrication condition should be good.
